Days Of Summer
Summer is my little golden coloured, long eared and intelligent eyed Cocker Spaniel. We got her a few years ago when I was suffering from a series of small cracks in my spine after i suffered a fall in a very undignified way. The cocker spaniel that we had, named Asia, had died previously and so it was decided that after a suitable mourning period we would get another one. Summer was a small and cute little thing that simply fell asleep when we picked her up from the people selling her. We brought her home on the plane and the whole time I was so worried that she would be upset of this loud and noisy machine but when she was brought off, you guessed it, she woke up and yawned. Of course she has become the madam of the house and when she walks into a room she makes her presence known. Summer sleeps in my bedroom and has her own cushion which, if she feels to, will share with one of the cats. She can become wild and crazy at times rolling in mud and all sorts of less-than-sweet smelling things. Of course, This does mean a bath. Not something that she enjoys but she does love to go to the beach and jumps straight into the water. She also loves to chase the fish that swim around, sometimes she dives below to try and catch them. Never does though. Poor Summer.
